Software for interactive whiteboards?

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by ven_dredi, Mar 11, 2012.

  1. My department is soon to receive an IWB, and I have no idea about good MFL software.
Could anyone share their experiences, please?

Get to know the software that comes with the whiteboard first -seriously it will take more investigation and time than you may think. Then think of it in terms of having all your video/audio/editing/Internet links in one place at click of button. Don't buy anything until you've spent time playing as you may well decide you never need to buy anything as a result. Your teaching will need to adapt to make it interactive rather than glorified screen and try to avoid death by PowerPoint.

  4. Thank you so much for that advice. Much appreciated.

The MFL Twitterati has been raving about the free software Triptico for IWB. Well worth checking out!
