Lockdown should be lifted across the country, shops should be reopened, schools fully reopened... this is over...

    Utter waste of time...

Hey, remember when a guy drove 260 miles for the sake of his kid?

Was that only last week? Huh... who knew...

Well I guess protesting about (an admittedly horrific and disgraceful) crime that happened on the other side of the Atlantic is worth catching C.V. and spreading it to all your family. Yep that's fine.

So a protest about the unjust needless death of one person now leads to the potential and equally unjust needless deaths of many other people.

I would like at least one of the protesters to explain that to me.

    Probably stuff like this:

"There is a virus greater than Covid-19 and it's called racism".

Without raking over old ground you do wonder if this would have happened if a certain person hadn't taken an eye test .

It doesn't make sense. One of the things some of the people have mentioned that they're protesting about is the increased risks of Covid-19 for black and ethnic minorities. How is joining a busy protest going to help that? Waiting six months might have been a better strategy. I suspect a lot of people are fed up with being restricted and now this has come along as a way of letting of some steam. Not they don't care about it, but it could have been something else.

Whilst many have been trying to forestall the inevitable, those who have protested about BLM, may have (and in all probability have), moved the calendar forward to the second wave. Enjoy:confused:

I presume the protesters have calculated that the number of people killed by racism in the UK will be comfortably more than the numbers likely to perish as a result of the Covid spike caused by these very large gatherings.
