So what are your Y6s averaging on the arithmetic sample test?

Just that really. Ours are averaging about 29 out of 40. We are an inner city church school who usually perform at about the national average. Just wanted to know whether we are on track. What do you think?

Seems like you are on track. We are getting our arithmetic scores higher just to help with the overall mark.

You're above us. We're closer to the mid-20s.

When you say averaging, do you mean you've done the sample test more than once?

Inner city Birmingham school here - we averaged in the mid twenties just before Christmas. But we have been repeating and doing mini tests from ***** and they are getting progressively better.

We have just done the arithmetic test this week and have averaged 29. We are usually about national average for maths. I'd be interested to hear from others? Our main issue is with calculating with fractions really.
