So confused, art (graphics) in year 1

Discussion in 'Art and design' started by Rache_g, Jun 22, 2011.

  1. Please help I've got to teach a Year 1 art (graphics) lesson for an interview the more I think about it the more confused I'm making myself about what graphics means in this context. What would you interpret it as? line drawings of building, logos or illuminated letter type things or something else? Thanks
  2. I would say that graphic design in it's simplist form is image and type used to communicate a message. You could focus your lesson on iconic designs that consist of the main elements type and image and as a class deconstruct how these elements are effective.
