So A Levels and GCSEs cancelled but ISEB CE 13+ going ahead?

Anyone else think this is ludicrous?!? What is the actual point? Particularly since 90% of our Yr 8s go on to the senior school anyway and we are looking at scrapping this exam in a year or so. Anyone else in the same boat?

Not quite what they have said. If schools wish their pupils to take the exam, ISEB will provide support for that. So an offer not a compulsion.

I'd liaise directly with your senior school (or the SMT should).

Funny old exam anyway. You have to pay to enter GCSEs and A Levels, but at least the exam board provides (and pays) people to mark them. We know where the public exam boards' money goes, but I do wonder how the ISEB spend all those fees...
