How does anyone feel about being told that EYFS is all about getting them to sit.

Didn't realise EYFS was a class full of labrador puppies.

Our last cohort are actually really struggling with moving and handling - the last thing we WANT is them sitting more than they are at present - we want them climbing, pedalling, balancing and generally physically exploring their limits! They've mastered sitting (in front of screens) beautifully from birth this bunch!

Children don't learn to sit still by being made to sit still.
