Sitting QTS tests before starting a PGCE

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by PE123, Jul 15, 2011.

  1. I've heard that Gove is proposing to ensure that all prospective PGCE students will be required to sit their QTS tests before they are allowed to start their course. Does anyone know when this will be enforced?

Not sure on this one but most of the things the government are wanting to implement at the moment will be coming into play September 2012.

I wouldn't worry, you have to pass them either way anyway :)
