What would be a decent package in Singapore in terms of basic salary after tax, housing allowance for a family, end of year/contract bonus?
Does anyone know what would a teacher with 10 years experience would get in any of the big schools?
    Cheers

Well, in looking at two of the bigger schools, a usually reliable source says that one pays $53K with $35K housing allowance and another pays $70K with no housing allowance for a teacher with a Masters and 8 years experience (gross, and no end of year gratuity for either).
Neither school expects you to be able to save much money on those packages (5K and 14K respectively). Presumably teaching couples would fare better.
