Signing in/out of school at start/end of working hours

    Yes.
    A book by the front door.
    During emergency evacuations to ensure everyone is out safe.
    Also handy if you're looking for someone to discover if they're off site.

    It's about emergency procedures in most schools (Nothing to do with absence or pay etc.) just making sure the fire brigade aren't searching for you in a blazing building when you are 50 miles away on a course!
