    Hi All
If a school offers to start paying an NQT that has a start date in June (at the end of the PGCE course), would that mean the NQT misses out on the pay rise the government have put into place for September? The school have offered me to start in the summer to be prepared for September.
    Thanks.

It's a cost of living rise, not progression through the scale, so yes, you will get it.
