  1. A student of mine has written a long composition with a particular section for just percussion; this group only plays during one section of the piece. We cannot find how to delete the copious bars when this percussion group is not playing so that on the score he is not taking up valuable space. Does anyone have any suggestions? With thanks.
  2. Do control A to select the whole score, then go to layout and hide empty staves. Make sure staves are actually empty by selecting them and pressing the backspace key.
