Shropshire Languages Society

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by dtwdvne, Dec 31, 2011.

  1. Shropshire Languages Society is a non-profit making organisation that supports languages and communications from as many perspectives as possible. (Please note that we are not, however, a travel agent or tuition service.) Ranging from talks to students in schools to foreign language musicals! Communication is a key to success and survival in life and as one of mankind's greatest achievements, language is important on a day-to-day basis. Often one takes it for granted until an obstacle comes up, such as a different language or a sensory impairment. Access to learning languages at the appropriate level and how to prepare oneself effectively and integrate into the world of the subject is also important and is our priority.
Contact us at Shropshire Languages Society for further info. People located in Shrewsbury or Telford who need our sort of support or could help us are very welcome.

Wow, this sounds great, do you know of any other such societies in the rest of the country?
