What do you include as an essential? I always thank the parents taking the time to come to support our school, I congratulate the children on a superb performance, thank the staff for their hard work and support etc. I have seen people say similar things but then I've seen some really verbose and drawn out speeches! I just wanted to see whether people thought concise was the key or do you go for a long speech?

    Concise.

    Always, and in everything.

My DHT once said, complained actually, that my Assemblies were always the shortest, I replied Yes, and everyone is grateful to me.

    ;)

    Best wishes
