What about Forsooth Connecticut, or Gadzooks Ohio?
Apologies for pic quality but I took this a minute ago on my ker-rappy mobile. The ducks have fed well this morning and are now preening themselves between our garden and next door. I think they sense the fog is lifting so they'll be sunning themselves facing south.
Have you got oranges for the ready stuffed duck?
I'm a vegetarian!!! Doh. And she who must be obeyed isn't fond of duck. Besides they're our "pets". Well, they pick moss off the lawn and waddle round the garden looking funny so I'm not going to eat Jemima!
Put some orange sauce on this then...
This came up on mt FB "memories" today. Me in a blonde wig.
Maybe. There are only 3 known photographs of Van Gogh, and in the only one of them where he's an adult he has his back to the camera. This was found a few years ago. The Van Gogh Museum won't confirm it but if not him, then whom?
Selective crop from a glass plate negative I bought at a flea market in Dijon. Can you solve the mystery of where it is? It's on a large river, and the roof of the warehouse/barn type building in the centre has '1909' inscribed in tiles. The church is very distinctive but might be less prominent among tall buildings today, or may not have survived two world wars. From another photo I'm pretty certain the photgrapher is facing roughly west. If the river was local to where I bought it, it could be the Rhone or Saone, but it could be anywhere. Any clues anybody?
