Should I mention private tuition on my CV?

    Hi folks

For most of the last academic year, I have mostly been giving private tuition
to students - I had about half a dozen students on my books. I am now in the
process of updating my CV and applying for office jobs (nothing to do with
    teaching). My question is -

When updating my CV, should I mention the fact that I was a private tutor
    last year?

    Thanks

  2. Yes - definitely.

  3. I'll mention it, otherwise you will have a year gap in your CV

    Hi Folks
    Thanks for you replies.
Sorry if this is a silly question, but
Could someone please advice what experience/qualities (which would look 'good') could I mention on the CV, which are gained from being a tutor?
    Thank You.

  5. If you are applying for office jobs I would stress the organizational part of the job, keeping record of your lessons, payments / taxes etc.
