should i have lost pay?

Discussion in 'Personal' started by elhambling, Sep 1, 2011.

  1. The strike on the 30th June was a non working day for me. I work part time and do not work a Thursday and yet ny pay has been docked. I would not be paid for that day anyway! i would be grateful if someone could clarify for me

I would say no as if contract says no Thursday then because it was on this day I would say your wages should stay the same
  3. We had some detailed info on this from the unions but I'm afraid I binned it and can't remember. Your union will be able to advise or check the union websites, some of them might have it on there still.

Went to the NUT meeting for union reps and this question was raised. He said that your LEA should have your contracted days and hrs, threfore you shouldn't lose pay. You need to contact your local office.
