He's on at a small local venue in the autumn. I'll be 65 by then but I do quite fancy it. At the same place there will be the Undertones, the Blockheads and Hawkwind over the next few months. How brave am I? Any thoughts about what these gigs will be like. i could probably persuade husband to go.

Gracious. Yes! Mott the Hoople. Yes!

I suspect the gig will look like a Saga holiday contingent has got lost and ended up in a hall somewhere.

"Should I go to an Ian Hunter gig?"

Its a bit like asking if bears use the forest as their lavatory.

    No really, where is it?
Sorry, have edited post. I realise people might not want to say because it will identify their location. Sorry. I'll look it up online.

At their age now, I suspect the name's appropriate. I would want to be in the front row.

I would. He sings one of my fave songs: "Flowers".

Saw Mott the Hoople live in 1973. They sucked. But Hawkwind? Hell, yeah!

I saw Hawkwind a couple of times in the early 70s - with the naked dancing lady and all.
