Short course/ Full course

Discussion in 'Religious Education' started by Yello1, Feb 26, 2012.

  1. He, could anyone please tell me the difference between short and full course religious education. I would like to know the breakdown for the end of year exams and what questions the pupils should do along with how many, topics etc.

    Thanks

  2. All depends which course you mean?
I do Edexcel. Full course is two exams, one taken summer year 10 and one summer year 11. But from September its going linear so both will be taken end year 11.
There are 4 modules and you pick 2 units as long a they are in seperate module.
    Click on this http://www.edexcel.com/quals/gcse/gcse09/rs/Pages/default.aspx
Click on specification and scroll down to bottom and click on GCSE 2009 modular and download and gives you all int info.
Short course for Edexcel is just one exam.
Not sure about AQA etc but it is probably along same lines?
    Hope that helps?
