This (Muslim) writer asks us exactly to stop racists like Robinson spewing their hatred out in public...

Politicians and the press can keep their platitudes. They’re meaningless unless they’re borne out by action. It’s time to make a stand. Defend our rights. Protect us from terrorism. Use your position to send a clear message that hatred has no place in society. Stop giving a platform to extremists. Stop pretending that white nationalism is not a threat to us all. Have the courage to stand up for our rights as citizens.

Too many have died. More will die if you fail to act. History will judge you for it.

Again, people protesting that politics is brought into discussions on this. Delusion or deflection. This is where condonimg, excusing and normalising hatred leads us and until we accept there's a problem we can't act to solve it.

There is a real danger that this tragedy will be used by people with 'agenda to satisfy'.
We should not speculate on the who and why until the full facts are uncovered and verified.
Sufficient for the moment to be supportive for the victims. IMHO.

I won't be lectured on hatred by a Scot Nat. Ask the late Charles Kennedy's friends about hatred.

There is much in this yet do we know the root cause?

The Muslim Council of Britain don't represent ordinary Muslims any more than Jewdas represent Jews.

Whereas you represent three individuals thrown out of Labour for anti-Semitism.

Our eldest is out counter-protesting against Mr Robinson and his fascist rabble today, I'm proud to report.

In the meantime, this Manchester gentleman's modest gesture of friendship outside as a mosque is notable:

My condolences to anybody who has lost someone in the Christchurch killings.

The people standing outside mosques and giving out flowers are Christians.

And yet some would have you believe that Christians are intolerant.

No. Real Christians are not intolerant. Intolerace is incompatible with the teachings of Christ.

How do we know they are all Christians anyway? Isn't that rather a lbig assumption? My cousin has taken flowers today to the local mosque, he is not Christian.

Found out why... turns out Clinton didn't like Illhan Omar's comments on Israel and this equates with encouraging a vile massacre of Muslims in a country thousands of miles away...

    Riiight...

Because it says so on the BBC link cited by magic surf bus.

Maybe you should read before commenting?

All those attending mosques today with messages of sympathy are Christians? Those who aren't Christians don't count?

From the reporting on the BBC that is the conclusion that is to be drawn.

If you want to communicate the action of your cousin to the BBC then maybe they will update their story.

Why is Christian's being recognised for showing compassion a problem for you? Who said other people showing compassion didn't count?

Do they need to provide a big long list of groups to be all inclusive?
Jews, Hindus, Sikhs, Trans, Gays, Queer, White, Brown, Black, women, men, ...

I suspect a dislike of muslims is high on the list.

Hopefully, it will be a while before we see more posts on here supporting the rights of Tommy Robinson and similar to spew out their unpleasantness.
