It looks like it was a domestic argument. The only difference is they're in a home and in their 80s.
Cue someone popping up saying 'actually Lanokia the Wild West wasn't that wild, with gun crime very low per head compared to the modern day wild west that is the USA'... oh wait...
Where on earth did he get a gun from? In a care home?
Any number of visitors could have brought it in, I imagine.
Old war trophy? Although at 80 he might just be a little too young.

I was thinking this too. I think that man who was arrested was 86. Could also be a later war than WW2.

It would be easy enough to get a gun in. As he just went in recently he could have taken it in with him. What a shock for every one though.

The MP is a KIPper and he is quoted in the article.
Though you have to admit it wasn't the most appropriate image of the MP.
There don't seem to be any photos of him looking normal.
