SHOCK HORROR Guardian expose!!!

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by BootStrap, Jan 10, 2012.

  1. Today it was revealed by an investigative journalist that..........
"Out of 28,000 teachers who qualified in 2010, just three individuals had a computer-related degree."
Mmmmmm could that be because 28000 is the total number of teachers trained......to teach all subjects! DOH!!!!!! So the art, English, French, DT and geography teachers...had a degree in the subjects they were training to teach? Of the 900ish ICT teachers trained the majority had degrees in computing and the rest in digital media and business ICT. Soooo where did the number "three" come from? Probably the number of seconds this journalist spent "researching" her story!!!! Why buy the Guardian ..... the cat's perfectly happy to use the Metro...and it's free!!
