Severe IBS/ Iron Deficiency/ High Blood Sugar

  1. If you're in pain and having some time off might help then take some time off.

  2. When you say "high blood sugar levels", how high are they talking? That will make you feel unwell on its own. The good news is that as soon as they are brought under control you should feel tons better immediately.

While you are under investigation and not getting any treatment for your pain and discomfort, then definitely you would be justified in taking some time off. Take it one day at a time, rather than deciding in advance how long to stay off - you might feel better sooner rather than later.

    Hope you feel better soon.
