    I was going to ask this when it launched but it seemed clear that this was a mistake and would be rectified.
    Obviously I was wrong.

    Go to: https://www.tes.com/member (when you're logged in)

    In the first box titled 'My public profile on Tes', click 'Edit' in the top right corner of that box:

    On the user profile edit screen there's a section at the bottom to enter your ID (above the 'Update profile' button).
