I am in the process of choosing which set film to study for the AQA AS and A Level French and it would be great to hear which films others have chosen and briefly why. I am erring towards either L'auberge espagnole or Entre les murs at the moment.

Yup I'm doing La Haine and the class seems to enjoy it a lot!

I based my thought process on "which film matches the other topics in the spec the best?" (ie therefore there will be an overlap of vocab and ideas) - the answer is La Haine.

Thank you so much for all your replies. I have plumped for "Entre les murs". I will let you know how it goes. Is anyone else doing "Entre les murs"? BTW I got the DVD for just £1.29 inc post and packing from Music Magpie.
