Sentence building apps or websites for teenage learners

    Hi all,

I have a number of year 10 students in a bottom set for English who could really do with drilling the basics of syntax and sentence construction. Some are EAL; one missed much of primary school due to illness; some for whatever reason have never mastered the basics and now are starting to worry about even getting a grade in GCSE English.

Can anyone recommend a good app that isn't phonics based or obviously aimed at much younger learners? I'd love to find something to recommend for homework and work with parents. Or if not an app, is there a resource or a method that you've had a good experience of?

    Thanks for all your help,
