It's so sad when they go like this..
See what I mean?
Lucky, and enjoy it. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself at You've Been Framed yesterday.
the older I get the more fussy I become - these days I can sit stony faced when something I used to find funny is on!
am I turning into a grump??
I'm sure you're not.
I'll never find these things/comedians funny:
On the Buses
Eric andd Ernie or anyone else doing a two-men-in-a-bed-and squabbling-about-the-bedclothes routine.
But Bilko, on the other hand, is wonderful. Now I know why I've seen grown men cry tears of gut-wrenching hilarity. Bilko is just so funny.
I've always been somewhat jealous of the easily amused (not that I am claiming to be otherwise), I mean those people who have hysterics at hardly anything at all, life must be so much more cheerful.
Not happier, perhaps, but definitely more cheerful.
I picked my word carefully.
Yes, you did, and well done you. There's a lot of **** written about happiness.
It is. But you have to give up your right to breed.
Hmmm.... I'm getting less and less cheerful and more and more happy the older I get. So just b.ugger off everyone else.
Hilarious! Specially when you think back on it.
And the sex in Birdsong that I have just watched on my permanently playing BBC1 TV should get a prize for being so funny.
