Hi all, I am applying for a job that asks:

What do you believe are the key recent developments in SEND legislation and what impact do you feel this has had on provision of services for children and young people with SEND?

Obviously I can talk about the Code of Practice, but are there any other points that you see as essential to include? Should I also mention the lack of current funding and fewer SSAs?

    Thanks in advance.

    Children and Families Act 2014
    Code of Practice 2015
    Equality Act 2010

Could go further, Rose Review 2009, Blatchford 2010 & 12, Warnock?

But what you need to think about is not what these Acts and reviews say, but what they changed and impact they had. What job are you applying for?
