  1. I work in a large FE college in the foundation learning department. We offer courses to learners working at pre-entry up to level 1, all learners have a learning difficulties/disabilities. Our department is facing some very difficult times and we have been given notice that our teaching team is being significantly reduced. I'm not really up to date with funding etc for these learners but I am aware that some colleges offers very small class sizes for these learners max 5 per group. Could anyone please help with how colleges are able to fund this, we currently have 10 learners in our highest need class I think if we could show that more funding is available for small class sizes then we might be able to save some of our jobs.
