SEN assessment

Discussion in 'Special educational needs' started by j_atkins, Aug 2, 2011.

  1. I am looking into getting either B squared or Pivats as a means of assessment, I wondered if anyone had any thoughts as to which is best?
I work with SEN children ranging from Year Two to Year Six, many of whom are working within the p levels/low level one. I want to be able to show thaT they are making small steps of progress despite not moving from one national curriculum sub level to another for fairly long periods of time.

    Thank you

Have you done a search for PIVATS and B Squared on this forum? (enter "PIVATS" or "B Squared" into the box at the top right of the page and select Forums) There has been a great deal of debate and advice over the years that you might find useful.
  3. Thanks I will have a look
