Sen allowance and maternity

Discussion in 'Pay and conditions' started by peacerose, Apr 11, 2011.

  1. Hi,
Due to take maternity leave in September, been in job 7years, been senco 3years with sen1 payment attached to my salary. If I take maternity, I presumed I would get pay based on my current salary Inc sen allowance but somebody recently said to me that because I won't be doing the sen role in sept I won't get that in my maternity pay, I thought..I won't be doing the class teacher job either but that doesn't mean I'll expect no maternity pay! Does the head/governors have a right to only give my class teacher maternity or should I expect my full salary Inc extra responsibility pay. If anyone can help give advice that would be great..thanks

  2. thankyou
