Anyone else been invited to this seller event thingie?
No! Perhaps you have to have made lots of money to be included! Do tell.
No - but do let us know what happens. Intriguing.
They sent me an email:

Sounds interesting.... I wonder what they will do.....
Languageisheartostay - Ha ha lots of money! I wish!
edited to finish my quote marks because I'm fussy like that lol
So I'm going to this seller event. Got the confirmation email. Really no one else here?
Little bit far for me. You will have to give us a thorough run down of the night's events!
I am going to be at the Manchester event. Which one are you going to Charleei?x
London. That's a shame, we will have to compare notes!
It was lovely to meet people. Hope they put on some more
Was it just a meet n greet? Or were there presentations or anything?
I was invited to the Manchester one but wasn't able to attend as it was it the evening on the wrong side of the hill.
Any helpful advice after attending?
It was more a meet and greet type thing. I met a few other sellers and the TES team. I mentioned all the things that don't work quite right on the site.
It was interesting meeting other sellers but not really a learning experience. Sorry.
I did write a short blog post about it if people feel like a read:
Thanks @Charleei for that blog post.
We've recently posted a blog post containing a video of some of the authors' interviews done on the event nights. There are some great tips and advice for both potential and existing authors - so worth the watch (https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/blog/tes-authors-advice-tips-and-views-camera).
Do check out the blog regularly as we publish tips and suggestions for authors. It's definitely the place to start for guidance.
If there is anything specific you would like to know just email us (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Awww nice videos! In my head my voice doesn't sound like a chipmunk on speed! I am sure it is only on camera I sound like that.... Right?
Thanks for posting feedback
