Secondary to Primary Conversion

Discussion in 'Secondary' started by MissAimeeC, Jun 22, 2011.

  1. I know it is possible but i need a simple answer. WHERE!
I am trained in secondary music, completed my NQT year, have done a further year as a temp in a SEN school as a general teacher including music and english.

Where can I convert as I want to work in the primary age range and i have been hunting a lot on the internet to no joy
  2. You don't "convert"- you have QTS so you're qualified. You just need to convince an interview panel you're right for the job. Issue is, loads of Primary trained teachers are strugging for work, let alone Secondary looking to move. You need to build experience somehow.
