    Hello all,
What is your "go to" main activity when planning a lesson?
Carousels? Market Places? Copying from a textbook?
    What works best for you?
It doesn't need to be anything spectacular or involve Robin Williams (RIP) style standing on desks, just your bog standard "get this knowledge into your head kids" kind of tasks.
    All/Any ideas welcome.

I hope I don't have one! Copying - ugh! I've become more keen on a carousel but it must have a purpose. I quite like a board game with cards to get the topic in, with information that needs to be recorded. I do like a card sort too. Was rather fond of a mystery, but haven't done that in a while.

    What's a market place??
