    Hi everyone,

Been working as an agency worker since I qualified with a DTLLS.

Unsure what pay scale I would be on.
I qualified 3 years ago. Does anybody have any idea of what my salary range would be if I were to go into a perm contract?

Depends on the school and whether you have QTLS. I have a PGCE (post-compulsory) and got QTLS (even though I didn’t need it because I qualified before the FE teaching regs) in 2011. I’ve worked in schools and colleges. Before the 2012 change in the educational act, I was paid at the top of the UCQ when I worked in schools (although other FE colleagues who were less experienced than I was were paid on the MPS). Since then, I’ve been paid as the fully qualified teacher I am where ever I’ve worked, subject to the colleges/schools in question paying as little as they can get away with.

Hope this answer helps and good luck!
