this is a continuation of the "Warming Up For Christmas" thread, with a more appropriate name for the non festive season.
Les Paul 25 was it "whisky in the Jar?"
JITHAL -by a Canadian folk/rock guitarist and singer/songwriter

nothing to do with Burns Night, but it has a seasonal title . It is by Bruce Cockburn

  5. January in the Halifax Airport Lounge.
Here's another with January in the title - it's a real oldie.
    JIJ

  6. OK, you have to go back to a 1930s film with Bing Crosby singing the opening number, which is this song. A rather young Bing Crosby plays a singer who disguises himself as a waiter to be near the woman he's in love with. It's great!

By last month do you mean "December" and that this is a December song that does not involve Christmas (which will be unusual)[IMG]

Ye Banks an Braces o Bonnie Doon.
Valentine's Day next and there must be hundreds of suitable songs for this so we might need clues.
    Here's my first offering
MFV, its a very old song but recently covered (and played on the radio a lot) by an ex-Beatle.
