Sea transport websites?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by psychstudent, Jan 29, 2011.

  1. I am doing a history research lesson with Year 3 children looking for information on different types of sea transport. I haven't found many child friendly websites with infomation about ferries, hovercraft etc. If you know of any please can you post them?

    Some links you could try.
Look at the further information boxes not just the main text on the Norfolk ones - some interesting things in these such as a solar powered boat, recommended reading and video clips. The Brittany Ferries site has some colouring pages as well as great photographs of ferries. There are also ferry facts.
