Science before SATs?

Apologies if this is a naïve question but I was just wondering what you were planning on doing about the science curriculum - are you planning on teaching it all before the SATS (in case you end up being in a sampling school) or spreading it out over the full year? I know I probably can get it all to fit in beforehand but it doesn't leave much contingency time for other school events/unexpected happenings and means the pupils would have less time for actual experiments/practical work which seems a bit of a shame.

    Thanks in advance

We'll just be teaching it when we want.

The sample tests are of no interest to me, and nobody ever knows the results of your children or your school, so what difference does it make?

It does rather highlight the impact of the high stakes tests in English and Maths, though!
