    Hi all,
I have been shortlisted for a SDS position, and have been asked to prepare a 20-minute observed learning activity.

''For the learning activity, we would like you to work with a small group of Year 1 children (6 children) on a story-based Literacy activity please. This will involve you reading a story to the children and then leading a follow-up activity of your choice (this could be speaking and listening, a short written activity or something creative). The purpose of this is to see your rapport with the children and the way you interact with them.''

I am unsure whether to do an activity based around adjectives (maybe read a story and the chd add some describing words to a floor map picture) or to base the activity on retelling the story.

Any advice would be gratefully received,
    Thank you!
