A couple of years ago the my school introduced a texting service to inform of relevant events/etc at school. This has been rarely used, but some texts recently have been so irrelevant it has raised some issues. Eg advertising of local events, confirming the way that money is collecting for people made redundant. I emailed the relevant SLT and asked if this could be stopped, recieving a snotty replied about sending messages to stakeholders. My reply was to ask for my number to be removed from the system. I continue to receve text messages. I feel there are a number of issues over this - any advice?
