Good luck to them - the "campus" idea for Advanced Higher is simply nonsense.
A wee word of advice - if they want to be taken seriously, they need to ensure that the campaign remains solidly apolitical and isn't backed by any political groupings. There's a couple of posts on their blog that make it look as though they're getting support from the Socialist Workers party - that simply won't help their cause (nor would support from Labour, the Tories, Lib Dems or Solidarity for that matter.) Staying neutral will make it easier (and more likely) for "The Courier" and other opposition councillors to support them.
  2. Good on them. It's nice to see some articulate pupils who care about their education and are doing something to fight for it. I hadn't heard that Dundee were planning this but I do know that other LAs are looking again at common timetabling to allow schools to offer courses remotely. It seems to me that there's very little point in offering a sixth year if there aren't Advanced Higher courses available.
