School productions?

Discussion in 'Drama and performing arts' started by iheartpoetry, Jun 7, 2012.

  1. Hi folks,
I'm a PGCE student and just interested to hear what school productions people have chosen to put on in the past? Any that went particularly well or not at all well?
    Thanks!

  2. Hello, if you work closely with your music dept. or work in a performing arts faculty then go for the musicals - we have done: West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Les Mis, Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Carmen etc. etc. The easiest score to work with was Les Mis and the students absolutely love it. (We've done it twice actually!) Carmen the Musical, very hard indeed. Plays - Mugged; Kiss Me Lilke You Mean It; Road; Can't Stand Up For Falling Down - good luck!
