School observation in Europe/rest of the world

Discussion in 'Teaching overseas' started by Amountainside, Aug 22, 2011.

  1. Hi
I was wondering whether anyone knew of opportunities to do some teaching observation in either European countries or in the rest of the world. I'm applying for a secondary science PGCE this year and would be interested to tie in some observation with a bit of travel abroad. All I seem to come up with is TEFL work which isnt quite what I'm looking for. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Contact some schools direct! Also contact some of the big providers of International Schooling in the UK - big one in the north west of the country - nor<strike>th</strike>d +the east county on the broads (without the east bit though). They have an office in Cheshire and Burton on Trent, Derbys. Schools in mainland Europe as well as Far East.

Good Luck and very sensible decision plus you get some exposure!
