I am interested in the article Homework shouldn't be relegated.... in TES Scotland of 5 October 2018. Point 6 instructs "Make sure the school library is open and supervised by the school librarian until 6pm". Can the writer, Yvonne Williams, say how a school is to achieve this when the Council has made all school librarians redundant, so there are none? That happened in 2016 with one Local Authority where I was doing supply teaching. All of a sudden - no school librarians. Who supervises the school library until 6pm then?
