School improvement - Professional research study - Can you help?

Discussion in 'Headteachers' started by ianlewiscrawford, Jan 27, 2011.

  1. Hello,

Space Unlimited is a social enterprise
that runs innovation workshops with young people to bring their insights to
commercial stakeholders interested in young peoples views.

    They have been
working with schools for over four years now and have found that the young
people and teaching staff who have participated in our workshops have learned a
lot and gained a great deal of value from the process.

    We are currently
helping them to research the market for utilising our workshop methodologies in a purely
educational capacity, providing whole school projects in conjunction with CPD
training and are looking to conduct telephone interviews with Headteachers across the education sector.

Interviews would be approximately 45 mins
to 1hr long and will be conducted by one of the Space Unlimited team between
Thursday 27th March and Thursday 3rd February. As they are a social enterprise the research budget is very modest but it may be possible for you to be paid a small incentive for your time if that would help.

    We would greatly
appreciate your involvement in this process as we hope to develop an offering
that will benefit young people’s development as confident learners and schools
capacity to deliver curriculum development and CPD objectives.

    If you
have any queries regarding your possible involvement with this research please
do not hesitate to contact me,
