    Hello all,
I’m starting a school Direct PGCE placement in September with Health and Social Care as my main subject and Food Technology as my second subject.
How can I prepare myself for when I start my course? I’ve ordered the Cambridge nationals textbook for health and social care to familiarise myself with the course content. I’ve never did food at GCSE level but I have worked in a busy cafe with food experience.
Could anyone give me some advice how to prepare myself more? Especially with preparing to teach food to years 7 and 8.
    Many thanks
