I'm getting stuck with creative ideas for how to collaborate between our Year 5/6s and those of the neighbouring school as we are supposed to set up something that will benefit the pupils.

We aren't doing the same topics so a stand alone would suit best.

    Any ideas welcome, thanks :)

How about a local issue? For example in my area the council are proposing to build thousands of houses on greenbelt land. You could investigate the pros and cons and create a joint school debate!

we produced "tourist brochures" extolling the virtues/attractions of our local areas which we then shared, before visiting each other and some of the attractions featured.
