When selecting from the binary fruit bowl, would you take a satsuma or a clementine?
Satsuma. Is this a bizarre psychometric test?
Clementines are a bit of a johhny-come-lately, so I go with satsumas for a more traditional Christmas
We had tangerines when I was a kid. Satsumas came much later.
What are the differences other than the names
I prefer the flavour of a clementine. I am making clementine curd to put in a roulade next week. Satsuma curd wouldn't taste as nice.
The small easy peel ones. I don't know what they are called.
At Sainsbury's they're called easy-peel! For my online shop that's what I enter.
Huckleberry Hound (the older posters may get the reference)!
Dumbing down of citrus fruit shopping.
I'm not mad keen on the taste of Clementines. They tend to have more pips too.
I don't possess a binary fruit bowl. Are they a new fashion and what do they look like?
We have one and the current choice is shrunken, wizened lemons OR bananas.
They come in various sizes and can only hold 2 varieties or fruit, or none at all.
Oh WHAT a pity! And there was I thinking I could ask for one as a present for Xmas.
Clementines, no satsumas here. Must be Corsican ones though
Corsucan have Corsican.
Satsumas-easier to peel!
