Actually ignore that -sorry. I was looking at wrong year. I blame sleep, deprivation!
  2. Thresholds

    Reading 18 level 4 - 33 Level 5

    GPAS 42 or 43 Level 4 - 54 Level 5

    Maths 46 Level 4 - 79 Level 5

    I think!!!

18 is not enough for a pass at Reading Level 6

21 is not enough for a pass at Maths Level 6 - next child - 37 is a pass

24 is not enough for a pass at GPAS level 6 but 31 is

Thank god that's over.... see you next year, folks!!
  4. Thresholds appear to be 79 for level 5 maths and 33 for level 5 reading. cant find any confirmation anywhere.

I mark. It does not seem to matter about the other results. I had a secure level 5. I mark off. This child had scored much higher all year. I don't. Know what happened on the day. Nerves. I suppose. Still have to tell her parents. I hate this.

    35 is a pass at level 6 maths but 30 isn't.

So glad it's over......happy with English scores/levels, but maths is average. Maintained from last year - should be happy, as paper 1 was a disaster!

That's life. We had a child miss level 4 by 1 mark...

Hopefully it means a lot more to us than them!

    Get over it.
  10. Generally happy - a few shocks both good and bad but hey ho isn't that life!

Any sign of the sub level thresholds? I can't seem to find them anywhere!

NO L6 readers despite some really amazing, insightful readers in my class. I felt there was no balance - loads of literal questions - but in the end I think timing was the thing. Any advice of tackling that next year?!
  15. There were A LOT of errors in the marking of the Reading papers (and several in Maths and SPAG)! If the errors we found are agreed with, we'll have an increase of 7% in reading!

No level 6 reading next year.
  17. I've found marks not given in find and copy questions, where the correct answer is given but with extra wording. I wonder if that was the clarification given that the whiteboards referred to, because there is nothing to penalise them for this in the mark scheme. Any markers around to clarify?
  18. No separate level 6 paper - but level 6 material will be included in the test.

Hi Feenie I marked the reading and the underlined part in the mark scheme is the minimum required text lift and the bits in the brackets the maximum. Anything extra negates the mark.
