SAM learning for MFL

Discussion in 'Modern foreign languages' started by djpb27, Feb 10, 2011.

  1. I have just discovered that my school is signed up to SAM Learning.

Does anyone use this for MFL? Is it useful? How do you find the content?

Any feedback would be much appreciated!
  2. We have SAM learning too but MFL don't use as we don't find it useful.
  3. Thanks nicmac for your response.- Dominic

Last time I looked, there was not much for MFL, it's much better developed for other subjects. However, I haven't looked in a while.

We never use to use SAM Learning but they seem to have improved the MFL area and I know use it with KS4. I set tasks covering the same topics that we will cover that term in class and the students have it as an on going homework to help build their vocab. Have only tried it out for 2 terms but seems to be working.
Mylo is a free internet site which I also find very good for students to practise vocab.
