Safeguarding - independent tutors

    Very sensible to have a policy in place, set out expectations for parent and child and guides you on what you should look out for & what to report - and of course, to who. Worrying replies on here as to some responses that simply indicate a dismissive attitude to safety. Simply because it has not been an issue previously doesn't mean it won't be in the future and trust me - being subject to a complaint or receiving & concerning disclosure, you will want to get it right first time and in fact I would suggest for the vulnerable person - you MUST get it right first time to ensure risk is dealt with.     I have just written mine, I got my template from the NSPCC.

    I have a policy. I went on NSPCC website, there is one there to use.
